A noite de domingo foi reservada para a premiação do SAG Awards, que aconteceu no Shrine Auditorium, em Los Angeles. Os troféus são concedidos pelo Sindicato dos Atores dos Estados Unidos. O SAG Awards é considerado um dos termômetros para o Oscar, por exemplo. A cerimônia premia os atores por suas atuações em cinema e televisão.
Sobre séries, The Crown venceu na categoria melhor elenco em série de drama. Já a o melhor elenco de série de comédia ficou para The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Flebag, que vem acumulando prêmios, ganhou melhor atriz em série de comédia, com Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Destaque da noite também para Game of Thrones. A produção levou melhor ator em série de drama, para Peter Dinklage e melhor elenco de dublês em série de comédia ou drama.
